If i’m going to write my book about getting my wants by utilizing my blog, I want to start off by taking the approach as if I was actually writing a book. The only difference is that my entire process is going to be public instead of hidden and private only on my computer.
So the first question… How the hell do I even go about writing this kind of book?
Start Rambling
I have read a blog post online by the title of “How to Start Writing a Book“. I guess that is a decent place to start. The reason I even mention it is because I read this, “When I sit down with a blank page I have no preconceptions. I just start writing and plan to figure it all out later once there are a few pages of rambles and rants to work from.” That seems like a perfect place to start for me. I don’t really know where I want to go with this, so I need to simply start rambling about how I get the things I want.
I was thinking of at LEAST getting some topics listed as a place to start rambling about. The things I want in life mostly have to do with education, relationships, health, financial, and career. However, the most important thing is simply being organized. I don’t think you can get everything you want in life if you don’t plan and work on obtaining it. If this is the case, people really need to understand and have a system that allows them to keep themselves accountable.
These are going to be my starting points. I know for sure that I have a few things I want to say about each of these topics.

One day in the future I hope to start on a project which is a book about the things I do to get what I want. However, now that I think about it, I may simply use this blog and create a series of blog posts that do just that. Those interested can simply follow along and interact with me as I continue to gain insights and share my thoughts.
Eventually I still hope to be in a situation that I convert my blog posts into a book of its own anyway. It can be somewhat of an insightful biography type book. Who knows, a person or two might want to read it.
I’ll use this time to work on my writing skills, grammer and spelling being that I am not too good at those things.
The goal is to have this book published by the end of 2016. That is the year I turn 30 years old. Along with the other goals I have, publishing a book around this time would be perfect.
Let the writing of how I Get My Wants begin!!
I have always wanted to get into the stock market. I’m thanking God that I didn’t do so before the crashing market of 2008. As I’m looking at a bunch of stocks online, I see how damaging It must have been for so many individuals. However, here I am in 2012 and came up with the idea that I was going to learn the stock market by actually getting involved in it. I’m very interested in the business industry and how money works, so this simply an area of like that I like and want to be involved in.
January 12th 2012 marked my first day as being a stock investor. Although i’m playing around with small numbers, it is my start. Currious as to what that first stock was? Well, my first stock choice was going to be Wendy’s. I thought my mind was made up and I was going to put all my money (my small initial investment amount) on them. However, after reading a few things about diversification I decided even though I didn’t have much money to invest, I was still going to invest in multiple stocks. Right before my first purchase, I changed my mind and went with another company. I purchased stock in Pandora Media at $12.13.
Since my first purchase I have also purchased stock in Wendy’s like I was originally planning on doing. Wendy’s is speculated to pass Burger King to take the #2 spot for fast food restaurants. They are also about to expand into Asian markets this year.
My third choice of stock was in a company called Cumulus Media. I didn’t know much about these guys, but read enough news about them that I thought they had some good stuff going for them. So, I gave it a stab. +Continue Reading
Are you ready to lose some weight? Although some of us may set a weight loss goal for ourselves, there are still some things that are holding us back. One of the largest factors that are holding many people back at the moment is likely to be money. Yes, money is one of the reasons that many individuals do not want to dedicate themselves to certain goals they are trying to achieve, especially a weight loss goal of any kind.
Most people relate losing weight with gym membership, driving to a workout spot, purchasing pricy workout videos, and maybe even purchasing nicer workout clothes so you do not stick out like a sore thumb amongst the veterans. However, all of these things are not at all needed when it comes to losing weight. If you want to lose weight and need to keep a close eye on your budget in these tough economic times, I am here to tell you that you do not need to spend a single extra penny to do so. If you already have access to the internet in your home and you can visit good ‘ole YouTube, you have direct access to everything you need to start losing weight RIGHT NOW.
And for those of you who are a little more technically advanced. I have added QR codes to each of the videos I mention. These codes can be scanned with a QR Code reader on a mobile phone and you will be taken straight to the actual video right on your phone while reading this article. RedLaser is a good, FREE, QR Code Reader.
Set Your Goal and Get Motivated
First thing you need to do is actually set the goal for yourself while getting pumped up and motivated. We all know basically what needs to be done, but setting a specific goal and getting a little motivation makes all the difference. Start out your YouTube Weight Loss program by searching YouTube for “Zig Ziglar Setting Goals 1 of 3” (Important, first 1:31 seconds). I recently had the pleasure of having a business venture presented to me for my involvement in its startup. My business partner, Reginald Fontana, had a few people get in touch with him that wanted to start an auto parts broker business. Being that Reginald and I partner in various other business ventures, he asked me if I wanted to be involved. I’m always up for hearing almost any kind of business idea so I agreed to meet Reginald and his friends at McDonalds to get introduced to the possible venture.
At McDonalds, I met the wonderful Mrs. Que. She had the MOST fire and passion I think I have ever seen in an entrepreneur. Que was on the ball and gave us all kinds of information we needed to know about how the business could and WILL function. She also already picked out a name, Accurate Auto Parts. After meeting Que and hearing the idea and seeing her spunk, I just knew I wanted to be a part of the start up.
A few days after our initial meeting Reginald and I received word that Que and our other possible business partner was released from their other auto parts broker job. Word got around some kind of way that they were interested in venturing out on their own. Instead of getting down about it, we used this as an opportunity to launch a grass roots effort to kick off Accurate Auto Parts. The company started operations out of Reginald’s house and soon come to the point that office space was needed. And by soon I mean 4-5 days. By the end of the first week in business, Accurate had become a legitamite business, secured an office, operated with 2 sales people and generated more revenue than I have ever seen from a startup. It was actually very amazing to see.
Today, Accurate Auto Parts operates with 8 individuals who continue to push the company to new levels just as we did in the beginning. I am VERY proud to be a part of this venture and extremely excited to see where this thing goes.
So, if you are ever in the need for a new or used part for your automobile, contact one of the Accurate Auto Parts Team members and you will get a quality part shipped out to wherever you need it in no time.
