“If we’re going to do big things in life, we must begin with those little things we do every day”
This is a great little peace of insight that I think is very true. So many people believe that change is hard, making a difference is a big undertaking, and my small actions do not matter overall. However, simple little gestures can make a world of a difference for someone else. I bet you can make something big happen in life if you just make it a point to make at least one small kind gesture to someone EVERY DAY! I know its already February, but that is a great new years resolution. It is not too late to start.
If you really think about it, one small thing can make a huge different in someones life and can ripple through the lives of many others. Have you ever heard that a smile is contagious? Smiling at one person usually makes that person smile back and give someone else a smile. That one little gesture can travel really far. +Continue Reading
Saying that Kelsi Guidry is the Coolest Cajun is a very strong and unusual statement to make right?! Yes, I agree, it is. Although I do think I’m the coolest cajun it really only matters if Google thinks so, right?
The reason I am doing this post and did this video is because my friend Marshall Wayne of MovieStarEntrepreneur recently created a video call “Marshall Wayne is the hottest man in the Galaxy“. He wanted to test how fast he can get ranked in Google for his long-tail keyword case study. If you do a search for hottest man in the galaxy, you will find Marshall there.
I wanted to do the same to demonstrate to my friends and followers that it takes a little time to search for opening with longer key words and create content to try to rank for them. My real test is for the keyword: +Continue Reading
As many of you know, I recently moved to Monroe, Louisiana. I am slowly but surely making friends here and there which is great. My job at Easter Seals of Louisiana has brought me to meet Emily Parker which is married to a man named Brandon Parker.
After socializing with Emily on a daily basis and finally meeting Brandon at work a few times, my girlfriend and I were invited to a Super Bowl get together in which our beloved Saints were playing in! We were in discussion a few days prior to this about some metal wall art that Brandon was creating and how he can maybe kick start his metal art work by creating fleur de lis wall art. I thought this was the perfect chance to start trying to sell his art work and riding the wave of the Saints and the fleur de lis.
A few days later, we created www.LAWallArt.com as a partnership betweet him and I. I am going to be maintaining his website and social media efforts while he creates his lovely art work and his wife Emily finds us art events to participate in around Louisiana.
I very much look forward to working with Brandon in the project because I am drawn to art and LOVE the work that he is creating and how passionate he is about making LA Wall Art well known within Louisiana and later around the world.
If you are interested in Brandon Parkers artwork, please pay him a visit at LAWallArt.com and become a Facebook Fan of LA Wall Art. Every supporter counts. If you love the art enough, make sure to buy yourself a piece or for someone as a gift.
Social Media is a fascinating tool and shouldn’t make people ‘afraid’, but evidently, it does. Maybe it’s because something that they have always done now has a name, but it is truly nothing to be afraid of. This article hopes to help you come to terms with what it can do for you.
Understand the difference between strategy and tactics. You don’t want to stop what you are doing in other types of communication and interaction, but use it in conjunction with other tools.
Know your audience. Different types of media will attract different audience. Use that to your advantage. Find out what your media of choice offers and take advantage of it.
The world is no longer about living simple, and getting by with only the things you need. Everyone “Wants”.” They “Want” something. And some of these wants are actually needs. I came away from reading a comment from a blog and came up with this, “it is not only about living with the things you need, it is about living a comfortably fulfilled life with the things you want.” If you go through life consuming only the things you need, you will have a much unfulfilled life with nothing left behind for others to remember you by. Even the most humble people “Want” peace on earth or something to that affect. And then that “Want” creates many different needs to be able to try and make that happen. Plus, I think it would be extremely boring to only sit back and consume your basic needs. Isn’t that what parasites and simple minded animals do? +Continue Reading
