I recently had the pleasure of having a business venture presented to me for my involvement in its startup. My business partner, Reginald Fontana, had a few people get in touch with him that wanted to start an auto parts broker business. Being that Reginald and I partner in various other business ventures, he asked me if I wanted to be involved. I’m always up for hearing almost any kind of business idea so I agreed to meet Reginald and his friends at McDonalds to get introduced to the possible venture.
At McDonalds, I met the wonderful Mrs. Que. She had the MOST fire and passion I think I have ever seen in an entrepreneur. Que was on the ball and gave us all kinds of information we needed to know about how the business could and WILL function. She also already picked out a name, Accurate Auto Parts. After meeting Que and hearing the idea and seeing her spunk, I just knew I wanted to be a part of the start up.
A few days after our initial meeting Reginald and I received word that Que and our other possible business partner was released from their other auto parts broker job. Word got around some kind of way that they were interested in venturing out on their own. Instead of getting down about it, we used this as an opportunity to launch a grass roots effort to kick off Accurate Auto Parts. The company started operations out of Reginald’s house and soon come to the point that office space was needed. And by soon I mean 4-5 days. By the end of the first week in business, Accurate had become a legitamite business, secured an office, operated with 2 sales people and generated more revenue than I have ever seen from a startup. It was actually very amazing to see.
Today, Accurate Auto Parts operates with 8 individuals who continue to push the company to new levels just as we did in the beginning. I am VERY proud to be a part of this venture and extremely excited to see where this thing goes.

I got in contact with an individual who runs a publication in Louisiana called “The Minute Magazine”. The reason I did this was because I wanted to make a connection for MyWants, but I also wanted to possibly write a column for them and get some recognition among their readers. So, I came up with the idea of writing about how people can lose weight using YouTube. Cool article idea, right? haha
As I get into the article I came to a place where I needed to refer my readers in finding 300 calorie meals to eat. However, I ran into a problem! There was a bunch of poor videos and now reliable source for these types of videos. Being the entrepreneur that I am, my wheels started spinning!
I came up with the idea to start a video channel that was all about 300 calorie meals. Come to find out, 300CalorieMeals.com was also for sale. I contacted the owner and found out they were selling it for only $10. Once I found that out, it was on. I purchased the domain name, setup a YouTube account, and secured profiles on Facebook and Twitter. By that weekend, I had the website setup and ready to go. +Continue Reading
As a college student I came up with the idea of a website and business that I wanted to create. Not knowing what to do or who to turn to for this very specific type of project, I ventured out on my own.
Long story short, I ended up getting where I wanted to be, but I took the long path with too many bumps in the road. If only I had someone to guide me along a path that had already been taken while helping me connect to every service provider I needed, PERSONALLY.
Over the years I have come to find out that people need help. Not only do people need help finding the right people and resources to get things done, but I also found out that people need motivation and coaching to help them accomplish big dreams and obtain their wants in life.
Yes, their “wants”! I understand that people “need” things, but my focus and the focus of my company is on those who want to push the envelope. I like to meet and work with people who strive further than their basic needs in their personal life or the life of their business. +Continue Reading
We have been working on the MyWants app for just about a year now. What was supposed to be a 1 month project turned into a 1 year project. LONG story…
BUT anyway, the application is in BETA and ready for launch.
The MyWants app simply allows Facebook users to create a list of their wants and share them with friends. You can also use the app to help you Get your wants with the “Get This”

But most of all, I would like to hear feedback from those of you who check it out. What do you think of the overall idea? Is this something you think you will utilize?
I have been wanting to create something that I call the “MyWants Network”. It has been my idea, since the beginning of MyWants, to create a network of niche websites. Finally, I have been able to take the time to layout and create the start of the MyWants Network.
Let me explain a little on how this will work.
Hub Website (MyWants.co) – Being that MyWants is made of many different websites, we needed one single website that acts as the hub to the entire network. MyWants.co is going to act as a web portal with links to others sections of MyWants.co and other “Wants” websites.
